Transelec Ventures is Transelec´s open innovation vehicle, through which we develop high-value solutions for the various lines of business in which we participate: electricity transmission, energy storage, and water supply and transport. We do so by collaborating with the best startups across the world.
The purpose is to optimize the core business of our operations by launching strategic challenges based on real needs of the industry that require innovative solutions.
The Model
The Venture Client model is an open innovation strategy in which a company collaborates with startups, not as an investor but as its first big client. Through this model, we fund pilots that allow validating their solutions in real and challenging environments.

Funded Pilot
The selected and validated pilots are funded under the Venture Client model. This generates value for both parties from the start of the collaboration.
Pilot in a Real Environment
Selected candidates will be able to access facilities, specialists, materials, data and any other input so the tests can take place in real environments or the closest thing to it.
Google Cloud Platform Credits
Selected candidates will receive a coupon so they can develop and test their software solutions with the support of Google Cloud.
Expert Know-How
Selected candidates will interact with specialists who experience the real problem within Transelec. This gives them access to valuable feedback for executing the development and testing of their solutions with the user at the center.
Visibility and Positioning
Transelec will communicate success stories to its ecosystem through digital platforms, events and press releases, among others.
