Bonds

Planning and Strength: Bonds in the local market

Transelec completed a successful issuance of bonds in the amount of 5 million UF in September 2024 to finance projects and refinance debt. This placement, which had high demand and favorable rates, strengthened its financial standing and leadership in energy transmission in Chile.

Awards and Recognition

Recognition for the financing of Aguas Horizonte

The Aguas Horizonte desalination project led by Transelec and Marubeni has won four international awards for innovation and sustainability. It has become a benchmark in sustainable infrastructure because of its pioneering financing and key impact on the reduction of the use of fresh water in mining.

Recognition for the financing of Aguas Esperanza

Through Aguas Esperanza, Transelec and Almar Water Solutions won the Infrastructure Deal of the Year Award for the US$ 1,5 billion in financing that they provided for a water transport project in northern Chile. This reinforces our company’s leadership in sustainable infrastructure and innovation in Latin America.
