Transelec offers a reliable electric transmission service to satisfy the needs of a country that demands a supply of electricity that must meet ever increasing standards of safety, quality and reliability. During the year 2007 alone, a number of contracts were signed with the aim to deliver transmission solutions to clients of the mining industry, the manufacturing industry and the electric power generating industry, with a special mention to AES Gener (for the injection of energy generated by Nueva Ventanas), El Carmen de Andacollo Mining Company, Agrosuper (Huasco plant) and Endesa (for its Bocamina II generating plant).
Seeking to provide these solutions and services in an efficient manner, Transelec has restructured its commercial area around processes of continuous improvement and a key account manager (KAM), which, in line with a clear service-oriented approach, are in charge of the integral coordination and management of the clients’ needs regarding all matters related to the transmission service in their role as coordinators of the integral transmission service. The intensive and timely management of the relatioship with the client gives fosters the development of a wide range of solutions that Transelec provides to clients of the mining and industrial areas as well as for the connection of small and large power generating plants.
